A tenth of a coin sounds modest. The distribution table disagrees.

The realistic milestone

For most people stacking out of ordinary income, 0.1 BTC is the serious first summit - and it already clears more than 92% of every funded address on the network. It is also 40 times what an even distribution of all mined bitcoin would allot each person on earth. The step beyond it is a hard one: the wholecoiner club is around a fifth the size of the 0.1 club, and mathematically capped forever.

The honest framing

Ten million satoshis is simultaneously a small number of dollars at today's prices and a large claim on a permanently scarce asset. Which of those frames matters more is the entire bitcoin question, and it is not one this site will answer for you - the scarcity maths is the raw material for your own view.

The honest caveatAll distribution figures count addresses, not people. One person can control many addresses, and one exchange cold wallet can pool coins belonging to millions of customers - the single largest bitcoin address is an exchange wallet holding 248,598 BTC. Address percentiles are the most precise public measure that exists, but treat them as a well-lit approximation of human wealth, not a census.
